Standard Chartered bank: print paper use worldwide 2016-2019

Over the past years, a number of the world's largest banks have made commitments to contributing towards a more sustainable future. Each bank that made such commitments did so in varying degrees. On a broad scale, these commitments are focused in three main areas covering environment, society and governance, and mainly follow the guidelines set out in the 2015 Paris Agreement.

A part of the commitments made by Standard Chartered bank plc was the the ambition to reduce the amount of print paper use per full-time employee by 57 percent from a baseline set in 2012. As of 2019, the bank had reduced print paper consumption by 27 percent. In 2019, the bank had reportedly met 93.1 percent of their total sustainable goals.
