According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2024, around 33 percent of respondents stated that they would give up on pirating if the site they were using was to be blocked. Overall, about 56 percent replied that they would give up using pirate sites or use the proper website if they were to get blocked, up from 49 percent in the previous year.
