As of March 2023, tea production in Kenya decreased by nearly 35 percent in comparison to the same month of 2022. The performance was induced by a decrease in tea farms in the East ands West of Rift, where production shrunk by some 33 and 35 percent due to unfavorable weather conditions, respectively.
