In 2020, nearly 17.9 million tourists used accommodation facilities in Poland. This means a decrease of 50 percent compared to the same period last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the situation has improved since 2021. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the number of tourists accommodated in Polish hotels increased significantly, reaching over 9.2 million tourists.
