The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that took the world by storm in early 2020 affected people's daily lives in almost every possible way. For example, the crisis impacted households' spending on food in various countries, and it also altered their eating habits.
While 28 percent of the French population ate more pasta than usual and five percent declared eating less of it, most people did not change their pasta consumption habits during lockdown.
