Share of employers in Ghana 2006-2023
As of 2021, employers in Ghana accounted for around 5.21 percent of all employment in the country, registering a slightly higher percentage change compared to the previous year. Overall, many young people in the country manage their personal businesses. The Ghana National Board for Small Scale Industries has envisaged supporting small businesses in order to help reduce the high unemployment rate in the country.
