In 2019, the Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) generated by horse racing betting in Italy decreased compared to the previous year, dropping by 9.4 percent. By contrast, the GGR of casino games, poker cash, and poker tournaments increased by over 13 percent. Similarly, the Gross Gaming Revenue of virtual betting rose by 15 percent in 2019, compared to 2018.
