According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in October 2024, about 56 percent of the respondents from Hong Kong said they had not used dating apps because they thought these apps not suitable for their culture. A considerable number of respondents found dating apps too time-consuming and superficial.
