According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in February 2022, Soul overtook Momo to become the most popular dating app in China, with about ** percent of the Chinese dating app users reporting to have used the app. A majority of app users stated that dating apps enabled them meet people they would otherwise never have crossed paths with.
