The global COVID-19 pandemic has impacted this trend, as only ** percent of CIOs and IT leaders who were surveyed after the outbreak expected an increase in the IT budget moving forward. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, ** percent expected their companies' IT budget to increase when surveyed in early 2020.
