Public opinion on diversity in movies/TV in the U.S. 2024, by gender

A report from 2024 found that 10 percent of American adults believed that women in TV shows and movies they watch were shown in a very positive way. The majority stated that men and women were represented in a generally balanced way. While three thought that men were shown in a very negative way, this was said by two percent about women.
