EABL attributed the fall to disruptions in the beverage market caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The company manufactures branded beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, and also operates in Uganda and Tanzania. In Kenya, the subsidiary of the global alcohol producer Diageo is the main commercial brewery.
