As of June 2020, the new segment in which travel agencies surveyed in Colombia where most interested in exploring was domestic tourism, chosen by 37 percent of respondents. Offering services for international tourists visiting Colombia was also seen as a new segment to consider for travel agencies that did not yet focus on that, with 29 percent of respondents. As of August 2020, there were more than 7.7 thousand travel agencies operating in Colombia.
