Retail sales and services in Vietnam declined sharply from the first month of 2020 to April due to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. After hitting the lowest sales figure in April, retail sales and services slowly started to recover. From May to October 2020, retail sales and services figures generally increased throughout the months.
