According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in August 2024, ** percent of respondents aged 16 and ** in the Philippines said they used such apps out of boredom. In contrast, ** percent of those 55 years and older said they used dating apps because it allows them to meet people they would otherwise never have crossed paths with.
