During the 2020 elections, approximately 6.73 million presidential votes (51.3 percent of total votes cast) were accumulated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP), while around 6.21 million votes (47.36 percent of all votes) were won by the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Overall, there were over 13 million presidential votes cast during these elections. Democratic elections in Ghana are organized every four years.
