In a survey conducted in May 2020, regarding the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) on consumer spending behavior in the future in India, 19 percent of the respondents would continue cutting their expenses. For about two percent of the respondents, their life was not affected much and they would get back to normal almost immediately.
