In a survey conducted in April and May 2022 in Japan, 56.9 percent of respondents stated that the degree of crowding at tourist locations was a necessary information when deciding upon travel destinations. According to the survey, the degree of crowding in facilities at tourist locations was the most coveted piece of information in COVID-19 times in people's decision regarding travel destinations.
