In 2024, the leading country of unmanufactured tobacco by export value was Brazil. That year, Brazil generated approximately 2.7 billion U.S. dollars in unmanufactured tobacco trade sales. The United States, which placed second in unmanufactured tobacco sales that year, generated approximately half of the export sales of Brazil.
