Overall, the majority of French parents of children aged eight to 17 did not set up parental control measures or other mays to monitor their children's online behavior. However, half of the respondents for children aged eight to nine said that they did set up some controls. In general, the tendency to set up security measure declined with the growing age of the children, according to French parents in 2020.
