In 2024, agricultural products with a cumulated value of approximately *** billion U.S. dollars were exported from China, an increase of *** percent compared to the previous year. Generally, the value of agricultural imports to China is considerably higher than that of exports.
Figures are based on China Customs' definition of agricultural products. This generally includes food products from agriculture and fishery, as well as agricultural raw materials and sideline products such as starch, skins and hides, or fur, but does not include products from forestry or processed raw materials such as biofuels.
