Reasons for using OTAs for purchasing tickets and services Malaysia 2023

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online travel agencies usage in Malaysia conducted in June 2023, 75 percent of the respondents who purchased tickets or services using online travel agencies (OTAs) stated that they used an OTA because of the convenience. Apart from convenience, Malaysian respondents used OTAs for the discounts and special offers.
