In December 2024, the average rent for office space in the central business districts in Tokyo amounted to 20.3 thousand Japanese yen per tsubo, increasing for the first time since 2019. Tokyo's main business districts comprise the wards of Chiyoda, Chuo, Minato, Shinjuku, and Shibuya.
