In a survey conducted among U.S. marketers in **********, respondents were asked about how they were using or going to use a customer data platform (CDP). According to ** percent of surveyed marketers their CDPs served as customer data repositories (used mainly for storing the data, stitching identities and analytics) and simultaneously as a data activation tool at the segment level. All in all the survey found that ** percent of marketers were using a CDP.
