According to Canada's latest survey into Bitcoin ownership, the number of women who owned the cryptocurrency had increased substantially. Now reaching an overall ownership of roughly four percent, this meant that slightly over one million Canadian women have some form of digital coin in their possession. No newer figures were available for 2020 or 2021: The period that the price of Bitcoin started the climb towards a value of 60,000 U.S. dollars.
