As of March 2025, the British-themed subscription video-on-demand service BritBox International recorded over four million subscriptions worldwide, including the U.S., Canada, Australia, as well as the Nordic countries Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. This marked an increase of 250,000 subscribers compared with the same period of the preceding year. The video streaming offer was first launched in the U.S. in 2017. In 2019, UK consumers got access to the platform, but it split off from its worldwide operation in 2022 in order to integrate into the streaming service of ITV.
