Main destinations for international migrants in East Africa 2020

Uganda was the main destination for international migrants in East Africa at mid-year 2020. Around 1.7 million people immigrated to the country. Ethiopia and Kenya followed, hosting 1.09 million and 1.05 million migrants, respectively. Overall, 7.7 million international migrants lived in East Africa in the same period.
