As of December 2023, 25 percent of investments sourced from mainland China in Hong Kong were directed towards North America, Europe, and other regions. 31 percent of assets from mainland Chinese investors were in Hong Kong itself. It shows that Hong Kong is a financial contact point between Mainland China and the rest of the World.
