This indicates that national tax revenues are significantly higher than those of local governments in South Korea.

Local taxes include acquisition tax, registration and license tax, leisure tax, tobacco consumption tax, local consumption tax, residence tax, local income tax, property tax, automobile tax, local resources and facility tax, and local education tax.
