In the fiscal year ending March 2025, digital games and entertainment company Square Enix generated approximately 75.1 billion yen in net sales via its HD games segment. Major new HD (mostly console) gaming titles released by the company during the fiscal year include Visions of Mana, Romancing SaGa 2, Dragon Quest 3, and Life is Strange: Double Exposure. Square Enix is the publisher of the long-running Final Fantasy gaming franchise, as well as the Dragon Quest series. Despite having a long history as console gaming publisher, Square Enix's biggest revenue segment in the most recent fiscal year was its smart device/PC browser segment, highlighting the importance of mobile games for publishers.
