Electricity sales in Kenya increased to 10,321 million kilowatt hours in 2023. Largest commercial and industrial customers purchased the biggest amount (5,300 million kilowatt hours). Domestic customers followed, acquiring 2,751 million kilowatt hours in the same year. Overall, Kenya counted more than 9.2 million customers connected to electricity as of 2023.
