U.S. share of adults who support a minimum wage increase 2024, by urban area

In an online survey conducted in April 2024, around 52 percent of respondents in the United States living in urban areas said that they strongly favor an increase in the federal minimum wage to 12 U.S. dollars an hour. In comparison, around 62 percent of survey participants from rural areas said that they strongly supported a minimum wage increase.
