The value of the proceeds of initial public offerings (IPOs) in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) declined significantly between 2019 and 2023. Starting at approximately 53 billion U.S. dollars, it peaked at 99.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2021. Yet, IPO proceeds declined significantly to around 22 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, following a downward trend. In 2024, however, IPO proceeds increased again, reaching nearly 30 billion U.S. dollars in the EMEA region.
