Long-term care expenses for seniors France 2018
In the space of a decade, the total value of long-term care expenses for elderly people increased in France. As a matter of fact, figures rose from 7,457 million euros in 2008 to 11,250 million euros in 2018, representing a growth of almost 4,000 million euros. It could partly be explained by the increase in the life expectancy of the population. Indeed, people are generally living longer and older thanks to medical progress.
