According to a 2019 study carried out in India, 45 percent of drivers affiliated with platforms had attained at least secondary level education with another 17 percent being degree holders. Meanwhile, 2 percent of non-platform drivers had received no formal education. This indicated that a large share of drivers at mobility service platforms were better educated than non-platform drivers.
