In 2019, the import value of rubber and articles thereof into Mauritius amounted to an approximate value of 41 million U.S. dollars. This was an increase in value in comparison to the preceding year, when roughly 39.5 million U.S. dollars of the products were imported. Furthermore, China was one of the main trade partners of Mauritius in terms of rubber imports with a share of nearly 38 percent.
