
Intensity of adoption of responsible consumption behaviors in Quebec 2020
global warming is primarily caused by human activity is widely shared in Canada. Although governments and large corporations have greater power to address this issue, individual responsibility is also important. Thus, some Quebecers are trying to limit the impact of their consumption on the planet by developing or reinforcing new and more responsible practices. Among these, recycling and the consumption of local goods are the most frequently practiced. The least frequently adopted responsible behavior is the use of public transportation: more than half of Quebecers reported never using it when surveyed in 2020.
