During the first half of 2022, over 238 thousand payment-related phishing were detected in the Philippines - the highest among other financial platforms such as banks and e-shops. Risks of phishing and other internet fraud have increased as Filipino consumers increased their online shopping habits at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
