E-commerce obstacles faced in Southern Africa 2020

Based on an online survey carried out between June and July 2020, 56 percent of the Southern African businesses that took part in the study considered internet connections as their major obstacle to e-commerce. Moreover, some 44 percent reported that payment gateway was what was constraining them to e-commerce, while 42 percent claimed that logistical problems were the barrier to their integration into the online market.
