In December 2024, 19 million Poles registered a Patient's Internet Account. The increase in registrations resulted in the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak in March 2020. The Patient's Internet Account (Internetowe Konto Pacjenta) has become the primary source of information for the patient about e-prescriptions, e-referrals, or e-sick leaves issued.
