Ørsted's installed renewable capacity increased by more than seven-fold in just over a decade, reaching 18.2 gigawatts in 2024. In comparison to the previous year, this represented an increase of 2.5 gigawatts. That year, renewables accounted for most of Ørsted's heat and power generation. Ørsted is a Danish energy company headquarted in Fredericia.
