Nearly 60 percent of the online cosmetic retailers offered all four listed delivery types to their customers as of 2021. While courier delivery was provided by almost all the stores only 57 percent of them worked with the locker delivery methods.

The study included 48 online stores of beauty category (specializing in retail of decorative and self-care cosmetics, perfumes, products for manicure and pedicure masters, and make-up artists) listed in the 1,000 largest Russian online stores by orders volume, four online stores of network marketing companies, and two largest universal marketplaces - Wildberries and Ozon.
Only online sales of cosmetics in the Russian territory were taken into consideration (excluding export sales).
