Moroccan direct investments abroad 2020, by country

As of 2020, Cote d'Ivoire held the largest proportion of Moroccan direct investments abroad. Direct investments in this country emanating from Morocco reached slightly over 1.9 billion Moroccan dinars(roughly 211.2 million U.S. dollars). Moreover, Moroccan investment in the United Arab Emirates, and Cameroon amounted to approximately 1.3 billion MAD and 593 million MAD (approximately 144.6 million and 66 million U.S. dollars), respectively. Overall, the direct investments abroad made by Morocco totaled around 7.8 billion MAD (approximately 867.2 million U.S. dollars) in the same year.
