According to a survey on subscription video on demand (SvoD) conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2024, approximately 52 percent of Indonesian respondents stated that they did not subscribe to any SvoD providers because it was too expensive. The same survey found that around 46 percent of respondents in Indonesia did not subscribe to any SvoD services.
