According to a survey on subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2024, about 25 percent of the 25 to 34 year-old-respondents in Thailand stated that they had one SVoD account, but they shared the subscription with friends and family members. Meanwhile, around seven percent of the respondents who were between 45 and 54 years old and older stated that they only subscribed to such services when they wanted to watch a particular show.
