The United Arab Emirates was the main buyer of Angola's diamonds in the first quarter of 2021. Roughly 90 percent of Angola's diamonds were exported to the country. In comparison, Belgium imported approximately six percent of the total diamonds exports. In general, Angola ranks among the major producers of diamonds globally.
