According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021 in the Philippines, 65 percent of female and 62 percent of male respondents reported that they changed their preferred time to go shopping in order to avoid crowds. In contrast, eight percent of both male and female respondents reported having less time due to juggling working from home and other care duties.
