In 2023, the mining industry in Ghana contributed nearly 14 billion Ghanaian cedis (GHS), roughly 944 million U.S. dollars, to the country's gross domestic product (GDP) at constant prices. This was the highest since 2013, and increased from around 13 billion GHS in 2022.
