In 2019, the largest share of government subsidies was distributed towards integrated device manufacturers (IDM) in China, accounting for ** percent of investments. Stated in the "Made in China 2025", the country plans to source ** percent of semiconductors domestically by 2025. To achieve this goal, the government established the National Integrated Circuits Industry Development Fund that has ** billion U.S. dollars worth of funds.
