According to a survey from 2021, respondents in India and in Vietnam were most open to hiring remote talents from abroad, at respectively 67 percent of respondents. However, 37 percent of surveyed companies in Vietnam were not equipped for remote hiring. On the other hand, companies in Australia and in China seemed to lean towards domestic-based talents.
Decision-makers regarding human capital from Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam across various industries were surveyed.
